East of England IDB Ltd (EEIDB) is a joint venture company, wholly owned by Ixion Holdings Ltd and Exemplas Holdings Ltd. It was initially established specifically to deliver the Business Link service in the East of England, under contract to the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
Following successful competitive tender processes, from 1st April 2010 EEIDB will add to its repertoire becoming the preferred supplier for International Trade services, on behalf of UK Trade & Investment in the East of England.
Ixion and Exemplas are both owned respectively the University of Hertfordshire and Anglia Ruskin University; two leading Universities in the East of England.
Neither company distributes profits and, by the nature of our current contract with the East of England Development Agency, East of England IDB Ltd is not allowed to generate either profit or reserves other than a management fee payable upon performance.
